Rose Parade
After two years of break due to pandemic, Rose Parade was back in a full swing this year! We were attending and sharing the spotlight with German and Indian Committees.
The Parade had a special centennial theme this year and many businesses participated in the Parade celebrating Roselle’s 100 Birthday. There were professional floats, marching bands, dancers, racing cars, fire trucks and police vehicles – just to name a few. Many walkers were passing out candy for the children. The RSCA Polish Committee was giving away Polish fudge candy “krowki”, a favorite to most kids and adults. The weather was beautiful, the crowds on the sides of the road plentiful and cheering!
