Since our humble beginning we have made a big imprint in Roselle! Just to name a few:

  • We became 501c non-profit organization registered with the State.
  • We distribute Welcome Bags to new residents of Roselle.
  • We offered Scholarship to local senior high school student and sent her to Poland as exchange student.
  • We hosted students from Poland.
  • We donate to other local non-profit organizations annually.
  • We Participated in Tree Reforestation Program donated to Village of Roselle to replace Ash trees lost to the Emerald Ash Bore infestation.
  • We are active in Roselle Community and participate in the Roselle Annual Parade, Cocoa Crawl and we have a street commemorated as an Honorary “Bochnia Sister Cities Street.”
  • We visited Bochnia several times and we hosted visitors from Bochnia.
  • We conducted and recorded interviews with original Roselle/Bochnia members for future generations.
  • We redesigned our website and are active on Facebook.
  • We have fun too! In order to raise funds, we organize and sponsor Annual Dinner-Dance Fundraiser Gala attended by local residents and community leaders.
  • We attended several State and International Sister Cities meetings, and we hosted the last Illinois State Sister Cities meeting in Roselle in 2018.
  • We have formed two new Committees with the mission of seeking a sister city in Italy and Germany.
