Illinois Sister Cities Conference
Representatives from Roselle Sister Cities Association attended an annual Illinois Sister Cities Association (ISCA) Annual Meeting which took place on Friday April 22 and 23rd in Richmond Park, IL. It was led by ISCA President Jay Mathur and our hosts: Ken Jones, Community Relations Coordinator and Leroy Alalla, Sister Cities International President. Thank you everyone for putting it all together!
Other participants came from towns like Belvidere, Dixon, Naperville, Palatine, Rockford, Springfield, and Urbana, just to mention a few, and there were many others.
Reports on activity and accomplishments were presented by Officers of ISCA Board, Executive and Leadership Committees and Ad Hoc Committees. We also attended an excellent Workshop lead by motivational speaker Michael Archbold. It ended with a group Panel Discussion on recognizing our groups potential in the future. Overall, it was a very successful Conference with lots of ideas going forward.
