Our time in Bochnia was absolutely incredible! Each day was filled with exciting events that brought us so much joy!

The town hall meeting on the first day was fantastic, as we exchanged wonderful ideas on collaborating for future educational and cultural exchanges. We had the pleasure of meeting with representatives from the city’s government, schools, and cultural organizations. Later, we were delighted to have an introductory dinner with the new Mayor of Bochnia, Magdalena Lacna, and her amazing team. Throughout our four-day visit, we participated in a wide range of activities as part of Bochnia’s Days celebration, from attending a film and opera music concert at the Museum, a concert in Library,  Big Band performance at the Teznia (graduation tower – a structure that consists of a wooden wall-like frame stuffed with bundles of brushwood, used in the production of salt which removes water from a saline solution by evaporation, increasing its concentration of mineral salts)   to joining the Salt Street holiday with various activities for both children and adults. In addition, we visited many tourist attractions in town. Our last day in Bochnia came too quickly, and it was tough to say goodbye to our hosts and a beautiful and picturesque town. We don’t say goodbye, just see you later!

We want to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for being such superb hosts to our Roselle delegation. A special shoutout to Anna Kawalec for being with us every step of the way. We’ve truly learned so much more about our sister city, and for that, we’re incredibly grateful. Partnership – BOCHNIA | Miasto Soli.
